No cases of COVID-19 traced to any dental offices so far

Early in the pandemic some people were worried about how safe it is to go to the dentist. We always maintained that it was safe, especially because dentists are used to work and protect themselves, their patients and their staff from other communicable diseases such as the flu.

However, a recent NPR article confirmed what we thought all along:

\”Despite these potential risks, the good news is that both the World Health Organization and the CDC say there have been no confirmed cases of COVID-19 transmitted in a dental office so far. And that includes follow-up by the CDC of news reports suggesting such infections, Neuburger says.
